我國進口終於擺脫連21個月跌勢，在半導體設備進口大增逾5成下，進口總額終於出現0.7％正成長。財政部表示，前9月半導體設備進口達120.1億美元，帶動資本設備進口金額值升至304.7億美元，雙創歷年同期新高，尤其資本設備進口已連5季擴增，全年進口額可望創新高。
財政部統計處昨（7）日公布最新海關進出口數據，9月進口181.9億美元，年增0.7％，終結連21黑。其中，資本設備進口34.2億美元，年增17.1％；半導體設備進口金額大增逾5成，成為9月進口轉正的最大功臣。
統計處處長蔡美娜說，此次台灣被列為iPhone 7首賣地區，拉貨效應較去年提早發酵，帶動手機進口大增1.4倍；至於電子零組件進口額年增25.3％來到38.4億美元，創歷年單月次高紀錄，合計第3季進口113.6億美元，較去年同期增加逾2成，刷新歷年同季紀錄。
然而，累計前9月進口仍較去年同期減少7.2％，連8季負成長，創史上最長衰退紀錄，僅資本設備正成長6.6％，農工原料與消費品則分別年減11.2％與3.0％。
蔡美娜指出，前9月半導體設備進口120.1億美元，帶動資本設備進口金額來到304.7億美元，雙雙創下歷年同期新高。
蔡美娜進一步說明，資本設備進口額已連5季擴增，以今年發展趨勢來看，全年進口額有機會超越2010年時高點391.9億元。

《REUTERS》報導，金價終場小幅下跌，市場觀望美國總統大選與 FOMC。
金價上週五在美國聯邦調查局 FBI 官員公開表示將再度深入調查希拉蕊郵件帶動下上漲創近四週以來新高。對此法國外貿銀行 Natixis 分析師 Bernard Dahdah 表示，大部分人已經認定希拉蕊會勝選，如果 FBI 調查讓希拉蕊領先川普差距縮小那麼金價可受惠於選舉不確定性。
此外本週聯準會將再度召開利率決策會議，Bernard Dahdah 並不認為聯準會會在美國大選前升息，但他們會關注官員這次說法。
美國商品期貨交易委員會 CTFC 上週五資料顯示，上週投資人再度開始增加黃金期貨多頭部位，白銀期貨多頭部位則小幅減少。
